My thesis (Cairo university, 1993) dealt with different aspects of sociocultural and socioeconomic factors together with sexual orientation that interacted with sexual attitudes and practices of my patients at the Sexual Health Clinic, El Haud El Marsoud Hospital (a hospital with walk-in clinics, for skin and venereal diseases in Cairo, established by the British in 1902).


In 1995, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office awarded me a British Chevening scholarship to practise Genitourinary Medicine 
after General Medical Council [GMC] registration with a license to practise in the UK. 







Besides, I have attended many LondonManchesterNottingham, and Glasgow medical courses, meetings, training/clinical sessions, conferences and workshops covering Genitourinary MedicineDermatologySurgical DermatologyDermatopathologyUro-Andrologylegal and ethical aspects of medical practice and medical education (peripatetic training). I have passed the relevant exams in London/Glasgow, completed training appropriate to the regulations and been admitted to Fellowship. I was a speaker at the first national conference on Egyptian medical education development, Cairo (rebuilding Egypt).


                                 
Was granted admission to the Fellowship qua Physician having acquired distinction as a Physician and having completed training appropriate to the Regulations 



I became a Royal College Clinical Educator on 23/9/2016 and I am fully committed to trainer development at the Royal College of Physicians, Glasgow, UK. I became a reviewer for the British Medical Journal (BMJ) on 28/9/2017. I have been a member of the Egyptian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (ESDV) scientific committee and a reviewer for Andrologia.

I have publications in books and journals with two first reported findings. My ORCID iD gives examples.
